Seasons come and go leaves green then brown Time eats all pretty things, including you. Our unremembered joy of a forgotten year Memory fades all our past, especially our love.

So sad and touching. Felt every word and emotion. 🙂

Thank you. It is a good relief to put it out there.

people come and go
towards the goal of life
death towards our end
when your eyes touch me
becomes a knowing
about the dignity of being human
awake inside me
the memory
of the wasted moment
always remains a moment
the sadness in myself

Really enjoyed the poem. I think time does a good job of fading certain memories but sometimes the problem is that it can’t make them go away completely.

That’s sooooo true. Time fades everything. Our life and work just move on. Yes, it won’t go away completely but it has dwindled to a size that can be stored in an obscure corner. Hopefully it won’t perk up to bother us.
