Poem Of The Day #34

Seasons come and go
leaves green then brown
Time eats all pretty things, including you.

Our unremembered joy
of a forgotten year
Memory fades all our past, especially our love.

  1. people come and go
    towards the goal of life
    death towards our end

    when your eyes touch me
    becomes a knowing
about the dignity of being human
    awake inside me

    the memory
    of the wasted moment
    always remains a moment
    the sadness in myself

    1. That’s sooooo true. Time fades everything. Our life and work just move on. Yes, it won’t go away completely but it has dwindled to a size that can be stored in an obscure corner. Hopefully it won’t perk up to bother us.
